Last updated: 12 July 2026. This policy applies to Olee Law and is provided by Olee AI LLC.
Olee Law is a knowledge-base and assessments service operated by Olee AI LLC ("Olee AI", "we", "us"). This policy explains what we collect, why, and the choices you have.
Account data: your name, email and organization, used to create and secure your account.
Documents you upload: the files you add to your knowledge bases, and the text, chunks and embeddings produced from them.
Activity: questions asked and their answers, assessments taken and marks, and messages you send within your workspace.
Usage data: token counts, timestamps and error information used for analytics and to enforce limits.
Billing data: payment records processed by our payment provider. We do not store full card numbers.
To provide the service: index documents, answer questions with citations, generate and compare documents, and grade assessments.
To operate and improve reliability, security and performance.
To bill for usage and prevent abuse.
We do not sell your data, and we do not use the contents of your documents to train third-party models.
Your documents and their indexes are stored so your team can ask questions of them. You can delete documents and knowledge bases from the app at any time.
Messages stay private - administrators and the platform owner do not read message contents. Billing records are retained as required for accounting and legal purposes.
We share data only with the processors that run the service (such as cloud hosting and database, our vector-search and AI-model providers, and our payment provider), under agreements that require them to protect it.
You can access, correct or delete your account data. For requests, contact us through the channels on our Contact page.
Some packages include a library of published Sri Lankan judgments and Acts. Judgments name real people - parties, accused persons, witnesses - and record allegations, findings and sentences. That is personal data, and some of it concerns criminal offences.
For your own uploaded documents we act as a processor on your instructions. For this library the position is different: Olee AI LLC is the CONTROLLER. We assembled it from public court records and we decide how it is organised and searched. We rely on our legitimate interest in providing legal research, which is the basis law reports and legal databases have always operated on.
We do not profile anybody, we do not sell it, and it is not offered as a way of screening people. It is indexed by the facts of a case, not by the people in it. It is not on the open web: it sits behind a login, is available only to organisations that bought access, and no search engine indexes it.
A person named in a judgment can ask us what we hold, ask for a correction, or ask for it to be removed - and we act without requiring them to prove an entitlement first. How to do that, and what we can and cannot do, is set out on our removal page.
